works as advertised but you might have to format the drive so it's ejectable and not just a real drive. the connector came loose and was rattling when I opened it but the drive keeps it in place. for the price it's a good pick up and I can't recommend it enough. 500gb perfect for a video game console or a big quick file transfer. I plan to fill it with movies for when I go to friends houses.
