I use them to carry water and it doesn't lose anything as much as it shakes. The metal that binds the two boats seems a bit flimsy and if you do much remember it may end up bending. I washed them first with water and the paper that I 've gotten dirty with came out, so to save color would recommend cleaning them first.

The caps thread well, they don't leak when full of liquid, and the pans clip snug on my drawing board. They're heavy, but that's to be expected; they're stainless steel, so they work well with magnets, too, if that's how you use them.
