    I bought this hoping to improve my internet speed in a spot in an upper floor of my house where the wi-fi connection was weak. Unfortunately, the improvement was marginal at best. It only delivered speeds that were half of what I get in parts of my house wired with Ethernet cable. The product works as advertised, but I think it might be best if you need it for a location where a connection is non-existent.

    Initially, I thought I had a problem. Then I tested it at 0 meters. Slows down with distance. Between two outlets my house failed to work. Between an outlet in my house it worked up to 3 floors up in the hallway of my building. In general, for my takes it works between 200 to 300 Mb/s.
