I have MacBook Air M1 (usb4/Thunderbolt 3) built-in SSD speed 3500 MB/s, and this SSD produces speed ~ 700 MB/s although the E61 model has 1050 MB/s speeds. What the problem may be is not clear, it may be as a defect in the SSD or cord, or the M1 chip itself can not allow external SSD to work as quickly as possible, which as that's why I put 4 stars. But if you speak in general, then me and these speeds are enough, I mount the video sometimes in 4 K 60 frames and this speed is enough. If you also like me enough of this speed, I recommend, very pleasant to the touch, and also has moisture protection, and it is sooo compact, I did not expect that it it it I thought it would be bigger, fit quietly even in a small female Palm.
