I was pleasantly surprised by this straightener. I have thick long hair and it took 15-20 minutes. I really wouldn't say it was quicker or better than my regular straightener, but it works as expected. I followed the directions and did my hair in layers, but I probably could have done thicker layers. My only complaint is the power button location because I turned it off twice while using it. I can also see it being really easy to burn yourself.

I have thick, wavy hair and I HATE straightening my hair because it takes too long, I can never get the wave out of certain parts of my hair, and I get hot doing it. I absolutely loveeeee this brush. I just tried it before going to bed as a test, and I am about to buy two more; one for my best friend and one for my sister in law. This took less than ten minutes, from it heating up to the finished product.

So originally I planned to return this, because I thought it wasn't going to work, but it actually did work and a lot better than expected! I'm happy that I kept it and gave it a try! It's gets my hair just as straight as the chase method with my Chi flat iron, minus having to chase my hair. I was also able to get it done in a lot less time.

This device worked well. I used the middle setting straight out of the box. I keep my hair braided due to the length. I hate needing to wash, dry, and restyle my hair. The straightener worked perfectly. The left side is just out of braids. The right side has been combed with the straightener per the directions.

This thing is a magic wand. Gloves are absolutely needed as your hair does get hot, and although it's hard to feel what you're doing when using gloves, use them anyway. Other than that, I love this stuff and I'll tell all my brown girls about it. Just follow the instructions

I have a thick hair and always use highest temperature. This bad boy get really hot, definitely need to set to lower temperature next time. Did made my hair flawless.The package is well packed
