The fan is really quiet and lite. Despite being lite, it's pretty stable. Even with my 15" laptop placen on top of it.. It doesn't blow extreme amounts of air, but that isn't needed since it provides distancing from the surface beneath the laptop. Also, the quiet fans doesn't disturb you while working.

The goods (without modernization) are functionally little suitable for the purpose. In fact, two low-power fans and a short cable with a USB connector. Therefore, a small modernization is recommended.
