I absolutely LOVE this. I use it for watercolor. It is not metal so you cannot use magnets to keep the half pans in place. This is plastic but good quality plastic. My solution to keeping the half pans in place so they do not fall out or fly out if bumped is I use permanent marker to write the numbers on the half pan paint holders. I write it on the bottom and the same number on the side of the small paint holder pan. I then take a dab of honey, bee honey, and I put it on the bottom of each paint pan to hold these half pans in place so they do not shake all over or easily fall out. The honey is not solid glue. The honey stays good for a long time. I can still remove the pans with no issues using honey. This works for me and maybe it will work for you as a solution. I absolutely love the size of this smaller paint palette. So easy to take anywhere but holds a large enough amount of paint. Pefecto!

I am very happy!! I have placed my green and blue in the small box. Fit 3 godgets Whole of watercolor pictures White Nights + 3 half bread, or 4 Whole + 1 medium godget for each row. Is light and closes nicely. Recommend!!

Good pallete for pocket watercolour. Although i wish it would open flat. Now the lid opens only 90 degrees, you cannot use it to mix colours. It also makes it inconveinient to hold in hand if painting outside.

The only problem is that the inner space is twice the size of the single boxes, so when you turn the box upside down everything gets messed up. I cut a rectangle out of some 5mm MDF and inserted it inside.

Get the palette watercolor pictures as described by the seller, the Pieces are removable and all fit well in the case! (As it had imagined bigest, But corresponds to the measures) I am very satisfied
