TL;DR Don’t use this if you have a thick phone case. Works well, with one flaw. First, I’ll start with the 3.5 mm end. This works great, takes a couple extra pushes which makes me worry about longevity, cuz it always requires just a little too much force to push in. It’s nice and secure once it’s in there, though. As for the lightning connector, here’s where the problem is. You can see how next to this lightning cable on its right, there is no little “stub” in case you use a case on your phone. The case on my phone is pretty thin, so it’s alright, but it slips out sometimes. When it does slip out my music pauses though, as the phone recognises the device as a dock speaker. It’s whatever.
