Box was tore up, but the instructions and thermometer worked just fine. Switched it to F mode. Since fahrenheit is more accurate than celcius. The unit reads 97.7 F off my forehead, my mouth thermometer reads 98.1 F... going to calibrate it to get it to match up. Overall satisfied with how fast it can get a reading (~2 seconds). The thermometer takes about 20 seconds.

It has 2 settings: one for body and one for object. The body setting has a shorter min/max range and takes a second longer to give you a reading, which I assume increases accuracy. Great device, happy customer
