Good product is effective with a medium size/large dog at the minimum beep gets scared and obeys. I recommend not abusing the device and using it only on specific occasions as training as it can stun or scare the animal or alenos use blow the beep button as a warning.

Tested and got away 3 different breeds of dogs, they all were quiet and though inconvenienced, apparently not suffered pain. Still not needed use with dogs brave.
