    I used 10g of dye to rejuvenate some navy shorts which had severe fading and wear on the thighs and butt. It worked reasonably well but the new colour is more purple, slightly lighter and also a more saturated colour than the original shorts colour. Overall the shorts look much better and have probably been restored to about 90% of the original condition. I think I should have used 20g instead of 10g so i will do that next time in order to get the colour a bit darker. I have attached two pictures but the pictures don't really represent the colour well. In the pictures, the inner short pockets were white so you can see that it has only dyed it slightly blue. The colour of the dye is kind of like blue pen ink.
